Can you help Borders Pet Rescue?

Borders Pet Rescue
Description
Borders Pet Rescue is an animal welfare and rehoming charity based in the Scottish Borders. We have been serving the local community for over 35 years, helping educate and promote responsible pet ownership and supporting pets and their owners who need help.
Our primary purpose is to find a secure and loving home for each animal in our care. We accept cats, dogs, small furry animals, and exotics. We also provide first aid treatment and rehabilitation for wild hedgehogs and help the community manage feral cats.
As a small, local charity, we rely enormously on volunteer support. In addition to our rescue and rehoming centre based in Earlston, we also operate two charity shops in Galashiels and Kelso. Our shops are the primary source of income supporting our charity work, and all three locations are run by a small team of staff and supported by volunteers.

The Ask
We have a range of fundraising activities planned over the summer period and are looking for organisations and individuals to help us raise vital funds for our charity to help animals in need - this could be through:
- Volunteering to assist at these events
- Contributing financially to enable us to provide facilities (toilet hire, refreshments, etc) for our volunteers
- Helping us to promote and recruit new volunteers to help with our fundraising activities and in the charity shops
