Cyrenians - Foodbank donations and volunteering

Companies are encouraged to make donations to a food bank in Edinburgh with links across Edinburgh & South East Scotland.

FareShare Central & South East Scotland is run by Cyrenians Good Food Programme, a social enterprise with a mission to bring dignified access to quality food for those who need it most. 

The team redistributes food from retailers that otherwise would have been sent to landfill to a wide range of  organisations in the Central & South East Scotland area, who provide food and help support those who need it most.

Donations of in-date foodstuffs and essentials as follows are sought:

• Tinned, bottled and jarred food and drinks
• Dried food such as rice, pasta, cereals, biscuits etc
• Pet foods and associated waste disposal bags etc
• Household items such as tissues, kitchen roll etc
• Toiletries inc. toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, deodorant, razors etc
