Mayfield and Easthouses Youth 2000 Project (Y2K) was set up in the year 2000 after it was identified that a youth only provision was needed in the area. Over the years, Y2K has supported thousands of local young people, providing a diverse range of services in response to identified needs. Our mission is to support and encourage young people in Mayfield & Easthouses to be healthy and happy individuals through our delivery of holistic youth-led services, helping to broaden horizons and realise potential. 

Painting and maintenance of building exterior: With support to paint the outside of our building, this will ensure that Y2K continues to be a positive environment where young people can enjoy spending time. We are situated in the heart of the community and therefore improvements to the exterior of our building, will have a positive impact on the wider community.

Our building is accessed by over 400 young people each year and it would be fantastic to make our space as inviting and pleasant as possible for all those who access our supports. We are the only universal youth work service in the area offering a 52 week per year support service for local young people. 

Our vision is for young people in Mayfield and Eathouses to be healthy, happy and happy, feeling safe and secure to become confident, fulfilled individuals.
