We are requesting Santa costumes and selection boxes for the Christmas Afternoon Tea Party on December 6, 2025.

We are ‘The Base’ Youth Club, a registered charity in Midlothian that provides a free weekly club that supports over 100 local children aged 7–12.

The Base is a free, inclusive youth club for kids in P3 to P7 living in Danderhall, Millerhill, Hill Top, Newton Village, and Shawfair who attend Danderhall Primary School. We provide a safe and supportive space where children can have fun, learn, and grow through engaging creative activities.

We are requesting support to provide Santa fancy dress costumes (RRP £20 each) and selection boxes for children at The Base Youth Club’s Christmas Afternoon Tea Party. We currently have over 100 registered children and expect around 80 to attend. Volunteers will also dress up to create a fun, festive, and inclusive celebration for all children.

This event brings the community together, spreads festive cheer, and ensures every child feels included in the celebrations.
