Positive Help

Status: Matched
Location: Edinburgh and the Lothians
Town: Edinburgh

Description

Positive Help offers practical help to those affected by HIV and Hepatitis C. Staff and volunteers work alongside service users to enable them to access treatment and support

Positive Help was set up in 1989 in response to requests for day-to-day help from those living with HIV in the Edinburgh area. Since then, our services have developed to meet the changing needs and increasing number of people who use our services.

Their original purpose remains the same, though the range of people they support has broadened, the needs are changing due to age and backgrounds of those affected by HIV and Hepatitis C in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

How Can You Support Positive Health

At Positive Help, they are advancing their mission to support the community and reduce environmental impact. They are currently looking for;

Two working smartphones - Android Version 12 or an iPhone to iOS 13 or later to help run our vital services.

Donating unused devices not only supports our programs but also contributes to reducing e-waste by giving technology a meaningful second life.  If you have a spare phone in good condition, please consider donating it to help make a difference to Positive Health and services.

If you think you can offer some mobile phones, please click through the blue 'Can I help?' button below.
