Description

Fairway Fife is a Peer Mentoring Charity involving people with learning disabilities from 16 years of age.

Fairway Fife are based in Dunfermline and aim to encourage and support people with learning disabilities (aged 16 and over) to access social and leisure facilities within their local communities and achieve this by matching members with Peer Mentors (professionally supported, committed volunteers, often non-disabled young adults of a similar age).

They offer their members a range of activities like arts & crafts,  sports activities, going to the cinema and meals, and tasks like shopping. Through the support offered by the team and their peer mentors, they are able to build friendships, help reduce isolation, improve confidence, and help members strive towards living their dreams.

How can you support Fairway Fife ?

Aswell as all the above support they have recently introduced a pantry for their young members due to the rising costs of food and hygiene items. They would appreciate any donations of supermarket vouchers, financial contributions or items below;

The cost to fully stock either of the pantries is £150 with the items always in demand. The team would appreciate donations of any of the items above, supermarket vouchers or financial contributions which would all go towards helping their members.
