The Yard is a Scottish charity dedicated to supporting children with disabilities.
At The Yard, children and young people with disabilities can explore, build confidence, and forge long-lasting friendships through our inclusive play sessions. Our mission is to build thriving communities of support.
Our maintenance days are a great way to spend a day away from the office and enjoy a unique team-building experience. Furthermore, your team will be working hard to keep our fantastic facilities in shape for the disabled children that we support.
Your duties will include gardening, tidying, painting and repairs. You’ll be provided a health and safety briefing, supervision throughout, refreshments and a chance to learn more about the work we do supporting disabled children.
The dates we have at the moment are detailed below:
- August 11th/12th/15th
- October 20th/21st
We kindly ask for a minimum donation of £250 per group of up to 15 volunteers, which helps us to support disabled children and their families in the local area. This can either be donated by the corporate or fundraised by the group.
