Defibrillator Donation - Legacy in Place

Morrison Construction was delighted to donate a publicly accessible defibrillator to the Tweedbank community. Installed adjacent to our live construction site at Borders Innovation Park at the Borders Raiders cycle speedway track, the defibrillator has been strategically located to support residents and the many community facilities in the surrounding area.
These include Tweedbank Railway Station, nearby housing developments, the outdoor sports complex and the local bowling club.

The defibrillator is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that potentially life saving equipment is readily accessible whenever it may be needed.

Trevor Bryant, Chair of The Border Raiders Cycle Speedway Club shared just how importat this support is for the community.

"The Border Raiders Cycle Speedway Club were delighted to accept the offer of having a new defibrillator installed at the site of their new track at the Tweedbank Sports Complex. Representatives from the club were taken on a site visit of the second phase of the Inspire Centre before holding a presentation ceremony at the track. The life saving equipment is now installed and registered on the national database.
Though we hope that it never needs using, it is an important asset for the new sports facility and the local community. Thankyou Morrison Construction!"
