Delivering Dynamic Youth Award (STEM)

Morrison Construction worked with S6 students at Earlston High School to support them in achieving the Dynamic Youth Award (SCQF Level 3).

Throughout the programme, the team worked closely with students to develop and deliver a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) class based on the Giant Tetrahedron activity. The project involved planning, problem-solving, gathering evidence, conducting practice sessions, and ultimately delivering the STEM activity to S2 pupils.

Through this experience, the S6 students developed valuable presentation, communication, leadership, and delivery skills. Earning this award and completing the programme equips young people with critical practical experience, significantly enhancing their CVs and serving as a vital foundation for future academic and career success.
