Belhaven Community Garden
Belhaven Community Garden is a Sustaining Dunbar project that transformed an area adjacent to Belhaven Hospital, Dunbar, into gardens where local residents, community groups, staff and patients could grow together.
Sustaining Dunbar volunteers have been working to transform the grounds of Belhaven Hospital into a Therapeutic Space, a Growing Space, a Learning Space, and a Biodiverse Space—a space for developing the range and variety of habitats to enhance the number and variety of species in the garden and its soil.

Bob Fleet, a gardening volunteer, said, “The pallets donated by Heron Bros. will allow us to use our water collection more efficiently by attaching a hose instead of just watering cans. Thank you very much; they will make a difference.”
