Our Community Garden

Our Community Garden is based at the Tynebank Resource Centre in Haddington and aims to reduce loneliness and isolation by bringing people together to grow food and enjoy activities.

The group holds regular weekly gardening sessions, with a gardening group meeting on Thursdays. Community members can head along and volunteer by buddying up, lending support and learning new skills.

They were delighted to receive the pallets that Heron Bros. kindly delivered and plan to put them all to good use.

Garden Coordinator, Helen Nesbit said,We plan to use the pallets to build bug hotels, which will provide habitat and support for insects and other creatures and increase the biodiversity in our garden.Thank you for providing and delivering these pallets. These will be the starting point of our latest biodiversity project.
