True Roots
True Roots are a family-run market garden and smallholding in North Berwick, East Lothian, specialising in local produce grown and delivered to residents' doors.
They believe that by growing and delivering fresh, tasty, seasonal food, they can, in a small way, help tackle some of the larger problems we all face.

They aim to ensure that no non-organic fertilizers or pesticides have been introduced into the food chain. The food has not made long, environmentally expensive journeys to plates. All animals in their care have been treated with the utmost care and respect, and all efforts to reduce their impact on local biodiversity and the global climate have been made.
Together with the help of their customers, they aim to improve access to local food, increase local biodiversity by growing in a responsible manner, and reduce their climate impact along the way.

True Roots uses pallets to dry onions and garlic and make compost bays, etc.
Nicholas Watt from True Roots said, "Thanks, Heron Bros.; the pallets will be put to good use. This is a free, high-quality, recyclable, and useful resource.”
