MPACT supports ESUB

The Edinburgh School Uniform Bank provides new school uniforms and essential items to children in Edinburgh experiencing hardship. They support referred children who lack proper school attire due to difficult circumstances, as this can lead to bullying, low self-esteem, and poor mental health.

Their service runs year-round, and they always need basic uniform items like skirts, jumpers, and shirts. A typical uniform pack costs around £50 and allows a child to choose six new items, helping them feel confident, look smart, and thrive at school. During winter, there's a high demand for warm clothing such as coats, hats, and gloves, while summer brings numerous requests for school bags and other "back to school" necessities.

Donations are vital, enabling them to supply these essentials. Local businesses can make an immediate difference, helping children reach their full potential. Many children they assist live in poverty, while others face sudden changes in circumstances, such as fleeing domestic abuse or entering kinship care.

At Mpact Group, they specialise in a variety of construction and refurbishment services, including office fit-outs, renovations, and maintenance, serving clients across diverse sectors like finance, hospitality, and government. They are dedicated to understanding their clients' visions, providing expert advice, and ensuring thorough, high-quality delivery with a strong focus on collaboration and attention to detail.

They're committed to ensuring every project leaves a positive impact on the local community and they made a donation towards the school uniform packs as they were keen to link in with a local organisation and help alleviate the stress for young people and their families.

Their recent financial contribution went directly towards their bespoke clothing packs which are give to children and young people referred to the team at Edinburgh School Uniform Bank - which could include a school bag, trainers, polo shirts, etc. all vital items to ensure that young people do not face the stigma of external situations and their school life is less disrupted.

Edinburgh School Uniform Bank simply would not run without donations like this. We are a tiny organisation having a big impact in our local community and we appreciate every penny of support. Your contribution helps us keep doing this, ensuring a discreet and dignified service for local people in need.
