Edinburgh Borders Group Supports LASC
Edinburgh Borders Group operates throughout Edinburgh and South East Scotland, delivering high-quality roofing services while remaining committed to supporting local communities. Having traditionally invested in sports sponsorship, the company was keen to explore new opportunities after its social media manager discovered the ESES Communities portal.
One request that caught their attention came from LASC Childcare Services, a Midlothian based charity supporting more than 600 families each year through its childcare, community centre, and additional support needs services.
LASC was seeking support to refresh its community nurseries in Loanhead and Rosewell. Creating bright, welcoming environments is an important part of delivering high-quality childcare, but rising costs meant additional support was needed.
Edinburgh Borders Group stepped in by donating:
- 60 litres of coloured paint
- 30 litres of emulsion paint
- Decorating kits, rollers, and paint brushes
The donation will enable nursery staff to refresh rooms and play spaces, creating more engaging environments for children, families, staff, and visitors.
We are incredibly grateful to Edinburgh Borders Group, a valued local business, for their generous donation which is valued at £450 + . This support was given entirely voluntarily and reflects their genuine commitment to helping local people and causes in the region.
The donation of paint will help us transform our nursery rooms into a brighter, more welcoming space for the children in our care. We will be able to refresh our play spaces, creating a more engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive. We are incredibly grateful for this generous support.
