Cupar Food Bank provides emergency food and practical support to people in their hardest moments. They also work with partners and local communities to ensure everyone gets the right help long before they need a food bank.

 

 

What is a food bank?

Food banks provide emergency food and practical support to people who have been left without enough money to live on.  

People also get emotional support and a reminder that they are not alone and that someone understands. Volunteers offer a friendly face and basic kindness. For many people, it’s the first time someone has sat down and listened to them – especially when they have been worn down by the way our social security system currently works.

Ways you can support this work:

Cupar Foodbank’s purpose is to help relieve poverty and support those in need. They do this by providing emergency food and other supplies to individuals and families, as well as to charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.
