Description

Edinburgh Community Sponsorship Homes is dedicated to helping resettled refugee families by securing housing that offers stability and hope.

We are focused on raising funds through donations, community support, and loans from individuals and organisations to ensure long-term, affordable housing is available in Edinburgh for resettled families.

We do this because we recognise the power of a stable and warm home on the lives of refugee families, and also to do our part in alleviating the current housing emergency in Edinburgh.

Thanks to an incredible donation of £ 80,000 and multiple private lenders, we are now in a position to purchase a one-bedroom flat to welcome another refugee individual via *Community Sponsorship.

We are open to support in the form of:

- Guidance and Mentorship

- Property Management: We will need a company to do the property management for us. If any bigger housing providers might be able to sponsor this or offer a discount, this would make a big difference for us

- Donations: The more we raise now, the bigger our share in the purchase and the bigger the potential to scale this work up.

- Sponsoring up-front costs: Solicitors, etc
