Tables and chairs for community club

Description

Craigroyston Community Youth Football Club (CYFC) was founded in 2007 by two parents (who are still involved!).

It was inspired by a desire to be inclusive. The founders felt the bigger clubs only wanted to engage with the best players. They wanted to give anyone with the desire to play an opportunity.

The Club currently has 238 people registered from age four upwards, and young children can participate in these activities for free. Our aim is simple: to get as many kids to kick a ball as possible.

 

 

There are 15 teams and 36 coaches; young people can also move up the leagues. However, everything we do is underpinned by a sense of community and affordability. We are deeply rooted in our community and want to provide opportunities for local young people.

We train during the week and have games on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Ask

Until now, we have been based in an old nursery building donated by the council. The area is being developed, and we had to move out. The council have kindly created a new building for us, which is great, but there is nowhere to sit!

The Community Room is vital for our club, and we are looking for donations of 50-60 stackable chairs and 10 folding tables. See the images for guidance.
